Mindfulness Meditation and Psychotherapy

Core Modules:
This professional development program is open to individuals who work on the front lines in health care and human services. Those with equivalent credentials who wish to apply may contact the director at learn@tapestudies.com.
Clinical Modules:
Registrants must have completed all four Core Modules before beginning the Clinical Modules. They must select four Clinical Modules and three Advanced Modules and may complete them in any order to obtain a Certificate of Professional Development in Mindfulness Meditation and Psychotherapy.

Overview: This program explores the integration of mindfulness, meditation, counseling and psychotherapy and the application of mindfulness meditation interventions to a wide range of clinical populations and conditions. Western and Buddhist-inspired perspectives on health, illness and healing, mind and consciousness, emotions and behavior, will be contrasted, compared and integrated. Participants will receive 114 hours of classroom-based faculty instruction. Those completing the program will receive a Certificate of Professional Education in Integration of Mindfulness and Psychotherapy from TAPE, co-signed with the Director of The Toronto Institute for the Integration of Mindfulness Meditation and Psychotherapy.
