TAPE Educational Services is pleased to announce its affiliation with the Academy of Cognitive Therapy (ACT), based in Philadelphia. The Academy is the accrediting arm of the Beck Institute of Cognitive Therapy and Research. Accreditation by the Academy, which is recognized internationally, will provide you with documentation of competence in cognitive therapy for consumer satisfaction, employment, promotion or tenure.

TAPE'S Certificate Program in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy has been approved by the Academy as fulfilling the educational requirements for certification as a cognitive therapist. Please refer to the Academy's website at academyofct.org for details regarding the requirements for completion of your certification process.

TAPE is pleased to announce that all of its programs are now a part of ASWB's Approved Continuing Education (ACE) programs. The ASWB's ACE program has been designed to identify and recognize high-quality continuing education providers that can deliver quality programs on many topics, through in-person or distance learning settings. ASWB also accredits all social work regulatory bodies in the US and Canada.

Note from ASWB: TAPE Educational Services, provider #1191, is approved as a provider for social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB), www.aswb.org, through the Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. TAPE Educational Services maintains responsibility for the program. Social workers participating in any of these courses [in a province/state that recognizes social work continuing education hours] will receive continuing education clock hours.

PLEASE NOTE: Program Certificates will list the total number of hours participants have attended (normally 72). Ontario currently has no requirements for continuing education clock hours.

Certain modules in the Addictions and Mental Health Certificate Programs have been approved for CEU hours by the CACCF. These courses are marked with (CEU) beside the course code.

The Canadian Counselling Association (CCA/ACC) is a national and bilingual organization dedicated to the enhancement of the counselling profession in Canada. A number of our mental health courses have been approved. Applications for Continuing Education credit by CCA/ACC are available at www.ccacc.ca.
