  14. What is the format of TAPE Programs and Courses? What will I learn that I can't learn on the job or at another Continuing Education Facility?

    Certificate Programs are based on 60 hours of instruction, consisting of 2-day modules. This offers maximum flexibility as you can take modules as you chose or are able to do. In addition, the various modules of Certificate Programs are normally taught by different instructors. Courses are delivered over 24 or 30 hours of instruction and are generally taught by one instructor.

    These programs are unique in that they have been created by a seasoned professional in the helping field with a view to the practice-based knowledge needed in the field generally not available in regular degree programs or other Continuing Education programs.

  15. What if I take a few modules of a Certificate Program and then the Program is cancelled?
  16. When do I have to Register to assure my place in a Course/Program? How many spaces are available?
  17. Do I have to pay right away? If I register for all six modules, do I have to pay all at once? Are there any exceptions/plans worked out for payment on a case by case basis?
