In this workshop we'll explore how you can develop a mindfulness practice that deepens your engagement in daily life. Learning Outcomes: Participants will be introduced to and guided through a variety of mindfulness and loving kindness meditations, each followed by discussion and coaching. While referencing Buddhist sources, the practices will be presented within the context of contemporary psychological theory and evidence-based clinical practice. The workshop will be of interest to mental health professionals with a range of meditation experience, from people who haven't meditated before to experienced meditators interested in deepening their practice by more fully integrating it with their clinical understanding.
